The company that produces the beanies is a member of the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) to improve working conditions in global supply chains, they require their partners and suppliers to comply with the BSCI Code of Conduct. Compliance with this code is monitored through regular audits.

Since 2019 they are members of the  MaxTex-association. This is an international alliance established in 2014, consisting of textile manufacturers, garment producers, raw material suppliers, textile service providers, scientific institutions, and start-ups. They are united by the goal of ensuring sustainable yet economically viable practices across the entire textile value chain. Through collaborative efforts, new standards in the textile industry are to be set by creating sustainable textiles and developing generations and assortments of textiles focused on sustainability.

The Beanies are produced in turkey by a Swiss company.
