About us

My name is Nic Yoeko Glover, and I’m the founder of the beanie brand DTMH (Don’t Touch My Hair). As the child of a Swiss mother and a Ghanian father, I grew up in Switzerland and experienced racism firsthand at an early age.

I quickly noticed that the needs of People of Color (POC) living in a white majority society are often overlooked – especially when it comes to clothing that suits us and our hair.

With my braids, locs, and curls, I constantly struggled to find beanies that fit properly. Most caps weren’t designed for Afro hair, causing hair breakage or simply not fitting well.

These challenges sparked the idea for DTMH Beanies. Our beanies are specifically designed to protect Afro hair while also being stylish and comfortable for all hair types.

We aim to offer more than just beanies – we want to create a brand that celebrates inclusivity, pride, and self-confidence.

Thank you for being part of our journey!
